We embarked on a new approach for identifying Cataclysmic Variable (CV) candidates by using the 12-band photometric S-PLUS survey. Now we are in the proof-of-concept stage of the method, confirming the systems as CVs from optical and X-ray spectroscopy conducted from Gemini and Swift, respectively. Here we are focusing on two targets: one already observed with Swift and with X-rays which are fully consistent with those of CVs and another, as one of our best CV candidates from S-PLUS. A paper is on the way and the optical spectroscopy we are requesting here will be of great value, as optical emission (as emission lines and strong blue continuum) is necessary to classify the systems as CVs.
