Abstract
We propose to study the chemical homogeneity inside HII galaxies through the mapping of emission lines with an IFU. We wish to derive the amount of spatial abundances variations in oxygen and nitrogen. We will thus bring insight (i) on the mechanisms of recycling of the interstellar medium in these galaxies (ii) on the amount of primary nitrogen produced in massive stars.
This is a joint proposal submitted together to the Gemini staff and brazilan TAC. We request 20 hours of observations, 16 hours should be talken on the Gemini staff side (4 galaxies), 4 hours on the brazilian side (1 galaxy).
