Title: | Ten Micron Imaging and Spectroscopy of Orion Nebula Silhouette Disks |
PI: | Tom Hayward |
Co-I(s): | |
Abstract
We propose to take 10 and 20-micron images of four Orion Nebula
silhouette disks using T-ReCS on Gemini South. Images taken through
the 8-13 micron narrow-band filters and the broad-band 20.8 micron
filter will define the disks' mid-IR spectral energy distribution
and reveal the presence of any silicate emission.
