Abstract

White dwarf stars are ideal laboratories for investigating both fundamental physics and astrophysics. Here, we propose to search for new Helium-atmosphere (DB) white dwarf pulsators around the hot and cool end of the instability strip to better determine the instability strips. We plan to use the resulting DBVs to explore various processes of convection and stellar neutrino production.
