Abstract
An Extremely High Energy neutrino event alert, IceCube-170922A, was issued on 2017 September 22. Inside the error region of the IceCube event, we have found a GeV flaring blazar TXS 0506+056. However, the redshift of the blazar is not determined. We therefore propose to perform spectroscopic observation for TXS 0506+056 with Gemini/GMOS.
