Program: GN-2014B-Q-27

We request deep late-time optical imaging of a peculiar, faint extragalactic transient. In addition to giving us an understanding of the energetics of the explosion, the observations will allow us to determine how the transient has evolved with respect to a pre-explosion source we detected in archival GMOS images. Linking the pre-explosion variability of the source to the observed post-explosion behaviour will provide us with a vital piece in the puzzle of this rare group of transients.
