Abstract
I propose to search for extended ionized outflows around low-excitation radio AGNs. Many of the outflow studies have focused on high-excitation radio sources that are likely powered by radiatively efficient accretions. However, at low redshifts, low-excitation sources are far more abundant, and those that do show emission lines often have broad and asymmetric line profiles that are typical for outflow gas. I have selected low-excitation sources at z < 0.3 with the most luminous emission lines, allowing for observations in poor weather conditions.
