Abstract
We propose a visible spectroscopic observation for three Near Earth Asteroids (NEAs), which are accessible bodies for the sample return mission to asteroid, HAYABUSA 2. HAYABUSA 2 is planned to rendezvous with a primitive and organic NEA, and return a sample to Earth. The primary target is the NEA (162173) 1999 JU3 which spectroscopic taxonomy is classified as C-type (Binzel et al., 2001, Icarus 151, 139-149.). However we have no backup target until now.
Considering a technical mission schedule and follow-up observations for new target, we have a pressing need to find other possible primitive targets in NEAs with low delta-v as backups.
Our purpose of this observation is to distinguish the asteroid spectral type by a visible low-resolution spectrum.
