Abstract
The observations proposed here are follow-up observation for data that the SEEDS (Strategic Exploration of
Exoplanets and Disks with Subaru) team has obtained with HiCIAO on Subaru. The HiCIAO (High-Contrast
Coronographic Imager for Adaptive Optics) was built at the IfA and I am therefore a member of the SEEDS
team.
The most important goal is to follow-up on our discovery of an illuminated outer disk around LkCa 15 with
imaging observations at longer wavelengths (L? at Keck, and Ks at Gemini), which cannot be done with
HiCIAO. We also propose to obtain M-band photometry (at Keck) of the triple exoplanet system HR8799 b,c,d
to better constrain models of planet evolution, and Ks -band imaging (at Gemini) of newly discovered possible
sub-stellar companions of HAT-P-13 and HIP49593, to ascertain common proper motion and to get some ?rst
information about the color of these possible companions.
