Abstract
Emission lines provide diagnostics of physical processes in nearby AGN. In particular, they tell us how the radio source interacts with its environment. We propose to measure the [FeII] and [PII] lines in order to use a method recently proposed by Oliva et al. to cleanly separate the effects of shocks and photoionization both on- and off-nucleus in a number of Seyferts with suspected interactions between radio jets and extended gas.
