GN-2007A-Q-8-105-001 | 2007-07-20 09:58:17 | FWHM = 0.70", this is very confusing because the bright-ish star that looks like it is to the SE of the science target is coming right into the center of the detector. I think I see something at the position of the supernova at pixel (552,1115). Offsets: P = -1.54, Q = +5.53. These are huge offsets, I am unsettled. |
GN-2007A-Q-8-105-003 | 2007-07-20 10:08:25 | I cannot see any hint of the thing that I though was the science target in the slit. Taking another somewhat longer exposure. |
GN-2007A-Q-8-105-004 | 2007-07-20 10:16:52 | Still no hint of anything in the slit. I am not comfortable just taking the data so I am pulling the slit out and restarting the acquisition. |
GN-2007A-Q-8-105-005 | 2007-07-20 10:24:50 | FWHM = 0.86" which doesn't help. But I do sort of see something at the same position relative to the brighter star so I suppose it is real. tiny offsets P = +0.06, Q = +0.07 |
GN-2007A-Q-8-105-007 | 2007-07-20 10:31:19 | OK I am satisfied, I believe I now see the target in the slit at pixel (179.5,153). No further offsets. |
